Suffolk Housing engaged Oxbury at feasibility stage to provide Cost Management, Project Management and CDM Principal Designer services for the development of the new headquarters building.
The design displays a distinctive, contemporary form which reflects Suffolk Housing’s core area of business via a traditional residential vernacular. Internally the building provides bright, vaulted open plan workspaces which take advantage of the views across the woodland situated to the rear.
Our role on the project included the coordination of an Architectural Competition and a single stage design & build tender to ensure the right design and construction team were appointed to the project.
Our involvement once the Works had commenced included the administration of the building contract and more wider project management duties in order to ensure that Suffolk Housing’s fitting out requirements could be integrated into the project on time and within budget.
