Oxbury Chartered Surveyors are delighted to share the news of Mark Watts’ promotion to the role of   Director. Mark started his career with Oxbury in 2005 as a trainee surveyor, working his way through the Oxbury ranks, which is why it gives us such great pleasure to make this announcement.

We have taken the decision to expand our Board of Directors by appointing Mark as Director of our  Cambridge office, following the significant growth of our operation in the region. Mark has managed the Cambridge office, growing our team of Cost Consultants, Project Managers and Employer’s Agents since it was established in 2015. From our Cambridgeshire base Oxbury are currently delivering projects across East Anglia, the East Midlands, Greater London and the South of England.

Since joining us in 2005, Mark has developed a wealth of  experience providing professional services across a wide range of industry sectors including residential, industrial and commercial projects, ranging from the delivery of zero carbon homes to state of the art warehousing and office developments.

Most recently, Mark has led some of our major projects, including the redevelopment of  the multi million pound CLAAS UK Headquarters site in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk; as well as coordinating large scale housing regeneration programmes nationally and across the Cambridgeshire and London regions.

Mark is a member of the RICS having achieved professional status via the Quantity Surveying pathway in 2013

Oxbury’s Managing Director James Oxbury said of the appointment, “it is in recognition of Mark’s leadership of our Cambridge Office, and his support and input to the development of the Company’s objectives, that we feel this promotion is well    deserved“.

Mark is thrilled to take on this new role saying “I am absolutely delighted to be taking on a role as Director for Oxbury, the organisation where I have worked since graduating from University. I look forward to playing a key role in guiding the strategic direction of the organisation in the future, and continuing to provide a quality service for our Clients”.

We are pleased to be able to recognise Mark’s contribution and his move to the role of Director, which underpins Oxbury’s ambition to foster talent and provide an environment that allows our staff to grow through the delivery of our professional services.
