Special Needs Bungalows At Kesgrave

This scheme comprising  8 No. Special Needs Bungalows has recently been completed for Suffolk Heritage Housing Association, at St Crispins Close, Kesgrave. 

The scheme has been designed around individual tenant needs, and there was close liaison with both the tenants and Occupational Therapists from Suffolk Coastal District Council throughout the duration of the Project.  This close liaison the Association to deliver a Scheme which caters for individual’s present and ongoing requirements; including overhead hoist systems, sliding pocket doors and adjustable height kitchens.

The site was acquired from Kesgrave Covenant Ltd to meet the Section 106 requirement associated with the private development on adjacent land.

An Eco Homes Rating of ‘Very Good’ and Secured by Design Certification were achieved on this development. And Completion was achieved more than two months ahead of contractual requirement.

Oxbury & Company Limited were appointed as Project Managers/Employer’s Agents for the Scheme; Patrick Allen carried out all Architectural services; and the Main Contractor Contractor was Elliston Steady & Hawes (Building) Limited.
