Roy joined Oxbury's at the start of 2007 after 24 years in the construction industry working for a number of construction companies covering all general aspects of building.  In addition to this he has also ran his own sole trader carpentry and maintenance business.

More recently Roy worked for the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk as a Technical Officer, surveying and organising responsive and planned maintenance on the Council’s housing stock and public buildings, and then with Freebridge Community Housing as a Project Surveyor, supporting the Project Manager in delivering the Association’s Decent Homes programme.

His role as Technician Surveyor involves undertaking site inspections during construction, supporting Project Managers in the administration of contracts, and carrying out defects inspections on completion and both during and at the end of defect liability periods.

He is also responsible for accepting the hand-over of schemes from Contractors, collating information and passing this over to the client.

Roy is a very keen photographer with particular interest in landscape, portrait and equine sports.  He has played golf for many years, having been a member of a club in Cambridgeshire prior to moving to Norfolk.
