Melbourne Parkside Chelmsford

Chelmer Housing Partnerships only high-rise and a significant feature of the Chelmsford landscape - will see the complete modernisation and improvement of the existing tower and the creation of a new building at the base of the tower comprising new homes and a purpose built community centre. ‘Parkside’ as the new scheme has been named (due to its commanding position alongside Melbourne Park) was completed in January 2009  will provides a range of homes for rent and shared ownership sale together with a new community facility – the ‘Parkside Community’ neighbourhood centre.

Funding for the project has was obtained from both the private and public sectors and CHP has received support from both the East of England Development Agency through its Investing in Communities programme and the Homes and Community Agency  Approved Development Programme
