Goose Green, Ashill

The houses at Goose Green are a mixture of 2 and 3 bed homes, built for Flagship Housing Developments.  There is a mix of 5Nr. rented and 2Nr. shared equity dwellings. 

The site at Goose Green presented several difficulties, which had to be overcome.  These included difficult narrow access to the site, a Tree Preservation Order and boundary ownership issues.

Further complications arose with regards to the title of the land opposite the site, which was to be used to form parking.

Despite these difficulties Lovell Partnership Limited, the Contractor, carried out early enabling works to secure the site and boundaries and the development was able to commence in June 2010.

The delivery of the scheme ran smoothly and Practical Completion was recently achieved in January 2011, one month ahead of Flagship Housing Developments' target completion.

Other parties involved in this scheme were Flagship Housing Developments, Lovell Partnership Limited and Architects; Barefoot and Gilles.
