Matthew has been with the firm since 2006, before which he spent ten years in a variety of technical support and engineering roles in industry.  He has a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and is currently working through the APC process toward his Chartered Surveyor status.

His primary role involves assessing new schemes, visiting sites to assess their potential, dealing with architects, surveyors and other third parties, producing initial budget costs and liaising with the client.  In addition he deals with post-contract schemes and has successfully managed a variety of developments in the last few years. 

Matthew also provides technical support to colleagues with regards the HCA’s Housing Quality Indicator assessment system and is the registered First Aider for the company.

Matthew keeps busy in his spare time as an Assistant Beaver Scout Leader with his local Scout Pack, running the PA for his local church and making homemade wine.  He is also helping his local Judo Club in a Project Management capacity as they fit out an industrial unit they are leasing to allow it to be used for a variety of Martial Arts and related activities.
