Code Level 6 Scheme

The construction of 10 General Needs houses and flats at Mendip Road, Chelmsford is continuing to progress well on site to achieve Code Level 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

The Scheme, which is to incorporate many sustainable measures, including a communal biomass boiler, triple glazing and photovoltaic solar panels, has recently had the design stage to Code Level 6 approved by the BRE.

The Scheme has previously received HCA funding and is being Project Managed by Oxbury & Company Limited.  Architectural works are being provided by Ingleton Wood and construction is being carried out by McCann Homes. The Scheme is due to be completed in June 2010.
